Librarian Warlord

I checked my old employer, also, but alas, that is not one of the obscure German periodicals they subscribe to.

Leo spit up on the swing (he was 4 months) and my girl laughed at him.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh well.

Hey, it's Friday! My weekend doesn't really start until Sunday, because I will be running errands and working all day tomorrow, but then Sunday I am going to Vegas, and not coming back until Tuesday night.

Wheeeeeee

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

but then Sunday I am going to Vegas, and not coming back until Tuesday night.

I think that every time you use the word "Vegas," you should follow it with "baby!"

but then Sunday I am going to Vegas, baby!, and not coming back until Tuesday night.

Isn't that better?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I agree with this.

I should be doing some work, but meh.

One of my bosses (the one I work with most of the time) is still in London, so I've been slacking... just a bit.

Occasionally I email him about something on a test server that doesn't work, and he emails me back, with the name of the stored procedure to fix that he just happened to know off the top of his head. Scary.

I had a call that devolved pretty quickly -- it's a DC coworker and she's all annoyed that she has to go to an event with the First Lady. Classic DC. She's got a point, of course -- it's supposed to be her day off, and it will take her as long to get there as she'll spend being there.

“Not dead yet!”

I still doing my rewatch of Criminal Minds.

My Tivo's been catching some early episodes and I'm finally catching up. I never watched them because Mandy Patinkin, talented as he is, got to a point where he was grating on me. Last night I watched "Fisher King, Part One." Worth it for the shirtless Morgan alone.

Also? Crazy-ass unsub.

I hate it when I go to the laundromat to do laundry, and the First Lady takes the last available washer.
