Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Can one of you arrange that?

I am trying so very hard, Perkins.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

OMG, this is the cutest thing ever! Or, in the last month, anyway: Cat Vs. Baby: A Clash Of Cuteness (VIDEO)

This video is dated February 8, 2001...2001?!?!?! It's been nine years since this epic clash of cuteness went down -- meaning some a-hole has been hogging all the adorableness for almost a decade. This kid is probably married by now! Jesus. Show yourself, cat vs. baby owner! Show yourself!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Can one of you arrange that?

Sure, but it'll take a full workday.

From Wonkette:

This Is Starting To Get Exciting!

“They intend to vote on the Sabbath, during Lent, to take away the liberty that we have right from God,” [Steve] King said.

“Faith has been perverted,” [Glenn] Beck responded, then repeated. “They are going to vote for this damn thing on a Sunday, which is the Sabbath, during Lent.”

Beck continued:

“Here is a group of people that have so perverted our faith and our hope and our charity, that is a — this is an affront to God.” [...]

“I think it’s absolutely appropriate that these people are trying to put the nail in the coffin on our country on a Sunday — something our founders would have never, ever, ever done. Out of respect for God.”

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Today has felt like a Friday which is going to make tomorrow SUCK since it won't be Saturday.

My WFH day got switched from usually Weds or Thurs to Tuesday so I'm dealing with that pretty much every week. Sucks.

In freaky news, I just emailed the wife of my high school bio and chem teacher, with whom I had a .... volatile relationship. His was a class I walked out of when he got to ranting (he was a very good teacher, a total pompous badass, but had a spiel he gave every year, I'd heard it before. He jokingly said I could leave...so I did. Kinda shocked him. And then there was the fact I was the only student he had who scored perfectly on all chem exams....after I'd pointed out his mistake, vehemently. We respected each other in the end and he gave me the best college reccs.) ANYWAY, she does custom stained glass work. And I'm wanting to cover some windows. So.

Still weird.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I want a sandwich. I have a Swedish rye cracker. A Swedish rye cracker is not a sandwich.

“Not dead yet!”

I have a new Ben & Jerry's flavor: Boston Cream Pie.

It's cracktastic.
