Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

Hahahaahahah!

I have several times been so hungover as to be puking. Yes, it can be and is that bad, CJ. And "acceptable cause" ...does "for drinking games to impress the ladies" count? Or "because I didn't realize that this many drinks would get me this drunk on my new meds"?

I had mexican for dinner also.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

"Acceptable cause" is a whopper of an outclause.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hee I love the corned beef over sticky rice and have had that meal many times despite being Asian Asian. And it`s good to have a diagnosis for Grace even if it is unexpected.

I'm a (mostly) responsible grownup and in the past year, I've had some epic hangovers I never ever intended, getting totally blindsided by the potency of the drinks. (Hi lisah!) It's always involved doctors and their concoctions. I'm taking that as a caution in the future. Hadn't had nights like that in ages.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Jesse and msbelle, we had hot dogs and mac & cheese for dinner, too! It's a dinner convergence.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, I sent off the email telling the project manager I won't be in tomorrow (WFH until 10:30). The most unprofessional thing I have ever done, right there, because I had a brainfart.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I want soda bread. Not enough to go out and get it, but still.

I often wear green, but I didn't today. The only people I noticed clearly acknowledging St. Pats were touristy types downtown.

I am on day 9 of this cold/flu/plague. I'm improving, but the cough isn't quite gone enough for me to sit through previews with an audience.

sarameg - Mar 17, 2010 6:07:21 pm PDT #17001 of 30001

Eh, it happens to us all at some point. I had to bail on a meeting tomorrow because a cleaning appt got re-re-rescheduled (I've lost track, stupid snow) and while I thought it was a safe day, it wasn't.

It's not unprofessional. Unprofessional is not showing up for no good reason and not warning. So if that's the worst you've done? Not bad. eta: Compare yourself to NewfuckingGuy. You're responsible.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The most unprofessional thing I have ever done, right there, because I had a brainfart.

Ugh. Hate it when things like that happen.
