Trust my rage

I would probably pay the babysitter if she's a good one and she was expecting to be paid back. As for the game, I would stop looking and pretend you don't care. I get the win/lose thing because o often feel the same way. If the kid thinks they "won" then it is sort of win/lose. So I guess you have to act like you don't care so they don't think they won. He's still short one DS needed to play the game.

Oh, and msbelle, I got my question answered so never mind that email I sent you a couple weeks ago.

Sorry I never got back to you.

I am having the bourbon.

The babysitter has been told not to buy him special things, but she didn't see this as the same because she was treating him for having a good report card, another thing we do not do. She was really emotional about witnessing him have a fit though, so I think she "gets" it now.

still filled with rage. I may have to go sleep in his bed.

Oh no, I knew you were busy. I just didn't want you to feel obligated in the future.

Maybe it will help that she saw how upset he was? I often think that we all, for example, know what you have explained about mac but we probably don't get it because we don't live it.

It's true. I had already told her that he has been violent with me, because people need to know the reality, but then tonight where he had a fit and threw things at me, but did not hit or kick or curse - and she was in tears and I was all, honey, it used to be fists to the head and face, this we can deal with.

Because books.

The whole thing's got that insane troll child logic to it, too -- did he think getting a new game would mean you had to give the DS back?

Well here is some good news, my district did NOT vote back in the convicted girlfriend beater/Democratic Party deserter to the NYS Senate.

I think I might ask my family for a heavy bag to hang in my new garage. It might save some on therapy bills.

Oy, msbelle. But I agree that you can "lose" this battle. If he has no DS, he's the one that really loses, yeah?

ION, I think my comfy couch is losing it's comfiness. Or maybe my just is just on it too much.

Sounds like a good housewarming gift!

You know what kind of car you want?

For the record, expect visits from me everytime I visit my parents now, since DFW is usually a plane change, even with SW. I'll just book two legs to get around what is left of the Wright Amendment.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Oh JESUS, msbelle. Your babysitter deserves a stern talking too.

So, Noah has pinkeye. (Which he got from K's ex's kid). So he has been temporarily booted from daycare (understandably). Today and tomorrow my school is doing High School Exit Exam testing. For testing, they booted my classes out of my classroom (so they could use my room to test) and put my kids in the PE classroom in the gym.

K can't take the day off, because she has already taken the day off to go to UCLA for a child development appointment with Grace. We need to be there because this is where they tell me how severely disabled she's going to be (or at least that's what I think in my head). It seems a faux pas to take contagious Noah to the hospital with immuno-deficient Grace, right?

So I'm taking the day off too and I have no sub plans and I can't really care at this point. But I'll still go to school probably and drop something off. This is INSANE, right?

FUCKING TINO.
