Sometimes I miss having powers... Oh. Oh! I know what this is! This is peer pressure! Any second now you're gonna make me smoke tobacco and--and have drugs!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Okay, dog & I have both been fed. Castle has been watched. And now I must venture out into the cold night for rehearsal. Today has been filled with me suggesting we blow off various obligations and the SO responsibly shutting me down. But he is already on his way to rehearsal from town, and I am at home by myself with the dog and the fire and no one to tell me to go do stuff I'm supposed to do.

Okay fine! I'm going. Dangit. It's cold out there! And dark! Hmph.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I bought a small baugette and patê. Tonight's dinner was the bread, patê, and a nice red wine. I may peel an orange later. So simple and sastisfying. It's times like this I'm kind of glad I don't have to please anyone else with my cooking, or lack thereof.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Mmm. That sounds nice.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I bought fancy salt at TJs today -- Himalayan salt crystals that came in a grinder jar. And they're PINK!!!

Also salty.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm a little giddy because I am having dinner tonight with one of my favorite people (an ex-colleague) and she just wrote that she "can't have sushi right now. :)"

She's had two miscarriages in the last year, so I am really hoping this pregnancy doesn't end prematurely.

msbelle should totally be flylady for not cutesy religious heternormative people!

I have no idea what size I could get down to, if I really got in shape, never having been what I'd consider "really in shape"! Given that I've got hips, probably not too terribly small, but since I don't have a large bosom (though I've got ribs...) probably a 6 wouldn't be too hard, if I were "good". I've been an 8 (or pretty darn close, and in some brands), once upon a time a couple years ago...

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

You know, between mentrual issues, digestive issues and joint issues, I think I would like to just cut my body off under the boobs and be carted around like some sort of bust. Or perhaps that Zoe Wanamaker character in DOctor Who who is just stretched skin.

It took unhealthy dieting—to the point where my hair started to fall out—to get down to a 12. Size 14–16 is pretty good for me. I'm currently about a 22. Nearly two months of exercise-limiting injuries plus holiday dining did not do kind things to me, nor was that even close to the whole intuitive eating I'm trying to word toward. I expect I'll end up around a 16–18.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have those too! So pretty. But I still don't know how you find sea salt in the Himalayas.

Our wings are not tired.

Unhealthy dieting is not the only way to lose weight, though.
