The reason we were hung on the .08 was that the roadside breathalizer wasn't done until about 2 hours after the accident and the station intoxalizer wasn't done until an hour after that. We had no evidence as to what he had eaten or drunk at any point.
Legal tidbit from my friend the defense attorney: Never refuse the breathalyzer. You can fight the accuracy of the breathalyzer but refusing it outright makes the distinction of drunkenness purely legal by the police's estimation. You're legally drunk whether you're physically drunk or not.
New FX series Justified with Timothy Olyphant (Deadwood) is getting rave reviews. Based on Elmore Leonard, and some of the same people that did Karen Sisco.
Yeah, I'm planning on watching it.
Timothy Olyphant in a sexy hat. At least there will be something on on cable. It won't fill the same White Collar/Leverage(/Psych) spot, but maybe the Burn Notice one.
If the bottle just says "100% Imported Olive Oil," then it's not "extra virgin" olive oil, which is...the best kind, right? For some reason? So I should return it and get extra virgin olive oil?
What are you using it for? I would cook with regular olive oil but prefer extra extra virgin for salads and stuff.
Olyphant + hat is a definite win. Where they got the idea that Bullock was so gosh-darned
likeable,
I... dunno.
OK, since all you nail people are about, what's a good cheap drugstore clearcoat that is a) pretty thin and b) doesn't craze reacting to artificials/ polish. I get this happening sometimes and it makes me crazy. Seems to correlate with thicker topcoats. I had a perfect topcoat, but label is gone and it's all gunked up.

I use it mostly for cooking, but also for the occasional ravioli.

Bullock was interesting without being entirely likeable (but not unlikeable either).
Oh, he wasn't unlikeable (usually), but he had a serious cold hardass streak that kept him from being the kind of saintly (practically cuddly!) white hat that something in that article seemed to be hinting at. As if anyone involved in
Deadwood
needed to prove they could go dark!
