Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I want to be a Lector! I am awesome at reading aloud! How come no one will pay me to do that?

There's always audiobooks.

Voicework in general...

eta: Great news, Liese!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

He assumes there's a Kroger every 5 blocks or something? How does that work? Does the federal government arrange a grocery zoning grid or something?

He can always buy whatever fresh produce he wants, and he's not rich, therefore everybody has access to produce, and anyone who doesn't buy it is just lazy.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

To do voicework, I'd have to work a little harder at losing my accent. Trying to talk without a drawl makes my lips go numb.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good news, Liese!

I don't have a good enough voice for that kind of work, but I sure could read to factory workers! Bonus point: I can read.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I had an agent give me a card about voicework once, but that was before I lived in LA.

Plus, it's acting, and I know too many actors to even pretend to do that.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I heard back from the folks at Nubar. They were all, "oh! nebbermind, give us a call! We'll sell you polish, make your nails pretty." So that's nice!

Also? Grading is currently being enhanced by a sip of red wine. All good.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

He can always buy whatever fresh produce he wants, and he's not rich, therefore everybody has access to produce, and anyone who doesn't buy it is just lazy.

Well, shoot. I can stream video anytime I want, and Gaia knows I'm not rich, so clearly everyone has access to unlimited internet. Those people who claim to lack electricity, connectivity, or computers are just too lazy to click on a wireless network.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Liese, that's wonderful news!

I just got to send email asking what level of undead pallor and blood-spatter I needed to apply to myself and the StuntHusband for an upcoming photo shoot, and say "But if you want more extensive wounds and ichor, I will need some SFX help".

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

So the shelves I bought require a "rubber mallet" for assembly. WTF?

Put a tape ball or a folded towel or something on the end of your hammer.

He can always buy whatever fresh produce he wants, and he's not rich, therefore everybody has access to produce, and anyone who doesn't buy it is just lazy.

He obviously doesn't live in Detroit.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay for the good news, Liese!
