I didn't even know they were married until you all told me during the Oscars.
I have this one thing I have to explain ALL the time at work to students/customers/employees, and I swear if I have to explain it again, I am going to explodiate. We have tuition benefits at our University. If you take a college class (with some restrictions) here, you fill out a waiver form, your supervisor signs it, no money changes hands.
However, if you take a non-credit class, the class is eligible for tuition reimbursement. That means (which I feel is apparent from the word reimbursement) that you PAY ME, and then get reimbursed at the end.
I register people for non-credit classes. I am theoretically not supposed to explain their benefits to them. However, benefits points them at a densely written HR policy that actually uses the word WAIVER meaning the reimbursement form, and they do not change this when I point it out. It is a really dumb policy, but there is no way in heck I am letting people all over the university take a course, get their reimbursement and then chase them down and make them pay me.
You are NOT helping me maintain my miff, Cass.
Shipping, per bottle, is less if you buy more bottles. It makes perfect sense if you accept my troll-like math.
I'd be interested in the polish box, too, given my curent obsession. I don't have much to add though.
Sadly, I've already been through it. Though there were a few things I didn't grab only because I either already had them or a close enough dupe.
Oh, is it possible to get polish without having anything to give? I would be all over that, if it's not too late.
Is there a Chicago stop? I'd be up for giving and taking.
In that case I think you just need to give a piece of your soul, Jesse.
Can I just say how glad I am that it's not snowing? We've had more than 10 inches of rain over the past few days. That is crazy!
There are nearly fifty bottles in there. I* think we can stand a few people taking more than they give. I am all over the idea of bringing more nail polish joy to peeps.
*just personally. I am not the owner of the exchange. Though I was nearly the death of it when I shipped all of the polishes to an old address. Thankfully it was returned.
so after my late start, I did manage to get some stuff done. a package mailed out, cat food bought, groceries bought, taxes re-filed (they were rejected and I had to get a new filing PIN, but in the meantime I found two errors and corrected them, to my benefit, YAY!), so far have gone through 4 bags of stuff from my closet and have a paper grocery bag of paper to recycle and 3 new partially packed plastic bins to go to storage. Oh and a partially filled large shopping bag of stuff to donate. I also posted some free stuff on the neighborhood listserve.
