It's been four months.
I had stuff in that bag that had been there years. I thought it was mending I was ignoring.
It's possible I have a little too much clothing.
that's part of what I like about fast food -- crappy little burger, not a ton of fries.
This is pretty much that. I'm just off my feed. Can't finish either the burger or the fries.
We own an iron and ironing board, but....no. Most things that I hang dry end up wrinkle-free *enough,* and the ones that need a little help get tossed in the dryer on no heat with a damp washcloth.
For things that even the dryer-and-washcloth trick won't help, I just take 'em to the cleaner. It's mostly shirts, which they launder and press for about $1.30 a shirt. Good enough for me.

Ha! We had a Steph ironing x-post, where Vortex said what I said, only in way fewer words.
I rarely iron these days now that I work in a casual office.
I managed to do a full boat pose yesterday. While I know that I'm in better shape now than I was a year ago, it would be nice if there was commensurate weight loss. But no.
Is it any wonder I love my job? My coworker, in response to two other coworkers PTO notices: "While you slackers are off taking your goofballs and watching The Movies and whatnot, some of us will be working hard to keep the lights on."
It's almost cheaper for me to dry clean between the cost of the sheets and the cost of the dryer.
I can see that. I only have a few things that are supposed to be dry cleaned, and I try to remember to throw them in the dryer while I'm drying towels or something. If i had to schlep them to a laundromat or come up with quarters, the convenience would pretty much disappear. As it i I've got two dry-cleanable items sitting on top of the dryer because I forgot to do the magical thing during any of the 6 loads I did yesterday...
Seeing that clothes need ironing is apparently a blind spot of mine. They have to be really really wrinkled before I even notice, and even then I'll probably decide it doesn't matter that much. Dressing professionally is so far from being my strong suit.
I iron on a biannual, maybe quarterly basis. And most things marked dry clean only, truly required dry cleaning, I just wouldn't buy it. I like a simple laundry day.
We own an iron. I know we talked about buying an ironing board, but I don't think we have one. Mostly the iron is used for pulling the dent and divits out of guitar tops and wood floors. It would need some scrubbing before using , I think
I have stuff that's been sitting in a dry-cleaning pile since...probably before we moved.
I like to iron! Which is a good thing, as I like to wear little linen blouses in the summer.
I will not, however, be ironing my children's clothes when they are 27. In fact, my children will be doing laundry for me, as soon as they are tall enough to reach the buttons on the washer.

My mom's smiling down on you from heaven, flea.
