I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I sent my sister these pics from The Losers and the heretic said "Who's that ugly guy Zoe's messing with?" WhatEV. I'm going to tie her down and force feed her Supernatural one of these days. But she did pipe up and say she really liked Columbus Short from Cadillac Records as well as Idris Elba. Netflix had Cadillac on instant play, so I gave it a shot. I quite liked it, and Columbus was very good. Not sure about his action credentials, but Idris and JDM and Chris Evans totally have that covered for me. Nom nom nom.

Want. Gimlet. With fresh lime juice and a touch of simple syrup. Am salivating from thought.

One of those should freeze pretty well too, right? Just a perfect thing to have on hand.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Indeed, and that's why is so very, very dangerous.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I just found this recipe for vodka gimlet straight up:

That is a brilliant idea. Thanks.

I need to grade tomorrow, but technically I'll be on break, which means I should have time to check out the Liberty prints at Target, maybe get some sheets.

We had a full day. Food fight party was an awe-inspiring mess, but the kids had fun. Came home and bathed them pretty much immediately. Now I'm tired.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

But I feel awesome.

That's the main thing, yes?

Personally I'm at a fairly sluggardly physical place and will need to find some way to burn calories that doesn't ping my knees. My sched won't accommodate swimming, so it might be bicycling with Emmett. But that's tough to do during baseball season with games or practice (in the East Bay - hence 2 hours of commuting on top of warmup/game).

I actually can run the steps at Kezar Stadium which is across the street (hence effortless to get to the exercise), but it's grindy, no-fun exercise. Frankly, I miss tennis. Burned lots of calories and enjoyed myself.

That might mean an extra purchase of vodka. Oh, woes.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh man, I'm so excited about The Losers I can't even say.

sarameg, you and I should talk. Or meet. Or whatever. I feel like we have a lot in common.

Because books.

"Who's that ugly guy Zoe's messing with?"

I can't comprehend that reaction on any level.

And a bitch on the knees. I'd like to start doing the stairs again (I'm on floor 46 in my building) but I'm not sure the joints can take it. I want to start running again, but same issue.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I forget who said they liked dark purples, but whoever does should try Zoya Yasmeen [link]

It's pretty awesome.

YOU WILL NOT SAY THAT ABOUT SAM AND DEAN'S FATHER!!!

I do my best with her, as most I can, but sometimes she makes it so difficult.
