Zoe: I thought you wanted to spend more time off-ship this visit. Wash: Out there is seems like it's all fancy parties. I like our party better. The dress code is easier and I know all the steps.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I think a lot of it also depends on how and where your body carries the weight. I am about a 12 right now, which I think is way too big for me, but I think Jilli and Plei both look great.

Yep. When I gradually lost 30lbs, my bra size didn't change. Which, yay, I guess? I like the shape I have, but it would have been interesting to be able to walk into someplace like Victoria's Secret or Target and purchase bras.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I, on the other hand, consider my normal size to be a 6. I'm not a lean 6 as I have been at various times. But I've been as low as a 0 as an adult. Which was not good. Under 6 is not good. I don't think I've been higher than an 8. I was perfectly normal looking then, just not my normally sustained size. Medication-driven appetite.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

That's the one thing I'm even a bit concerned about with my upcoming surgery. When my sister had her bypass a few years back, she ended up with A-cups and is seriously considering having a boob job when she gets employed again and can afford it. Nothing extravagant--she just wants her B-cups back!

Right. I was pointing out that, in general, that distribution changes a lot depending on how tall one is. A size whatever is going to look different depending on how tall someone is.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

sj, I thought you looked great.

I'm at a 16 in pants at the moment, usually a 14 in dresses. It's heavier than I'm comfortable with, as I'm actively aware of my flab. Also, I am vain, and if I get above a 12, my candids look crappy.

I won't lie: I miss the 8/10 I was a couple years ago, but I'd really just be happy to live my life out as a 12.

This is me. I was happiest in terms of my appearance and energy (and how easy it was to get dressed in the morning!)at 8.

Thanks. I really don't feel great. I'm in pain a lot and hate the way I look right now. I'd ideally like to be a 6/8.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If I could have had my entire wardrobe magically resized to 8 I wouldn't have minded (and I resent now not fitting into the things I did buy then), but I hated the insatiable appetite I had. There was no off switch. It felt awful.
