I don't really fear the not matching with it. I'm thinking it's, as they say, a POP of color for whatever outfit i'm wearing.

Damn, I totally want that "Going Green" set. Unsurprisingly.

I went a stretch where I was polishing my fingernails pretty regularly, largely b/c I was spending every weekend on KBD's couch. That's no longer the case and my nails are a WRECK right now (won't. stop. peeling. and I get OCD with it) so it's going to be just toenails for a while. As of tonight they should be sparkly hot pink.

I finally went to bed after 2 am. Oy.

It's Friday! I completely forgot to make any plans for the weekend.

Anyone else do better?

YES! Tomorrow my sister and I are heading to NEW ORLEANS. Where we will help green the Lower Ninth and eat, drink, and be merry! With NORA! And many other fine people!

tonight - therapy and then a movie at home with mac.

tomorrow we go to karate, hopefully that goes smoothly since last week was so disastorous. Uncle G picks up mac from there and I come home to fix paint and start gathering things for storage (aka building a small mountain in the living room).

sunday - church and possibly having one of mac's friends over for a playdate. more house clean-up for me.

I have minimal plans -- massage this afternoon, maybe a movie, definitely job applications.

My weekend plans are the same that they ever are--teach, perform, church. If it`s nice I want to do some yardwork. If it`s not, I need to clear out our future roommate`s room. And I have a ton of office work to do, as our board meeting is coming up.

My bro and his family are in town for a hockey tournament, so my plans so far include running home and quickly tidying before they arrive, then going out to dinner with them.

Plans for the weekend include doing something with Nate, since Abby has her first sleepover with a friend. (Yay friends-- two other little girls who are as manga mad as she.) And then on Friday, a local friend and I are going to go hang out with a California friend who'll be in town for her sister's nursing school graduation.

We've been promised margaritas. Also, the possibility that her uncle (@shitmydadsays on Twitter) may be making an appearance. We're quite excited.
