Everyone is familiar with the fact that grades in American colleges and universities are prone to “inflation” over time, but the data are much more striking when presented as a graph.

The last manicure I got, the salon had a selection of new OPI matte polishes - my sister got a really gorgeous slate-blue on her fingers and toes. Sans top coat, it looks almost like chalkboard paint.

I'm loving the OPI blues! I wish I could paint my own. I'm too shaky handed to do it right. So I end up going wayyyy to long between manicures and I my nails always look a little trashy, I think.

My wardrobe and nail color choices are limited mainly by what won't clash with my hair. So my nails are only ever painted colors easily mistaken for black in indoor lighting.
