I realized when I was living with my ex, the detective, that at least 80 percent of crimes are solved because criminals don't have the sense to shut up and they tell on each other like four year olds.
Exactly! Stop snitchin', bitches. Omerta.
Or, you know, if you like Lawful Good, keep it up you blabbermouths.
well that was uncomfortable. Along with things I was comfortable answering was "have you overheard anything?" yikes.
Yikes. I told you all about the time we had a general staff confidential meeting without the management team, and then I pretty much immediately got called into the CEO's office to narc on everyone? Good times.
yeah, so I did not divulge all that I think I know about it, but possibly gave them more info than they had. It's not necessarily against the company rules to have a side business, but if time at the office is diverted to it, then they would have an issue. documentation is their burden though.
Ack! I just found out that I may not be eligible for unemployment pay from either Iowa or Missouri! I won't find out until Monday.
I didn't make enough in Iowa to qualify, and Missouri is not sure I can qualify under extended benefits.
I need a job, stat!
Yikes, quester. I hope it works out.
Man, home sick is boring when you have insomnia and light and sound bother you. I'm stocking up on vids, but I can't really appreciate them much. I wants sleep, I does. Oh, and to eat, that'd be great. Haven't eaten yet.
Oy, ita! Feel better, m'kay?
Hope it eases up quickly, ita.
You know that groundbreaking gay couple storyline on One Life to Live that's been handled so well and has been generating praise and lots of great press for ABC? Word's just come down that it's being ditched (apparently scapegoated for declining ratings, despite numerous plots that were actually getting bad reactions running simultaneously), Brett Claywell and Scott Evans are being let go, and they found out about it via uproar among their Twitter followers after TV Guide broke the story. That's right, the executive producers told reporters before the actors that are being let go. Stay classy, ABC. [link]
Good luck sorting that out, quester....
And feel better, ita! (If I say it like that, you have to do it, right?)
ita, I hope you feel better soon.
Stay classy, ABC.
Oy. @@
