Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Taxes are done and the big, unexpected, refund is already in the bank. I'm hoping this means I can swing the F2F this year. I hope. I hope.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm paying some bills and somehow iBank thinks I have WAY WAY less than Citibank.com is telling me. I only have one uncleared check out there, and it doesn't even account for half the difference. I hate money.

Hey, right now I'm two hours off of east coast time, right? It's 12:45 here. And then after Sunday I'll be three hours off?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

So if I sign up for a slot for something that's at 2:00 am EST, I'm committing to 12:00 midnight my time this week and 11:00 pm the previous night for the summer. Is that right?

Punishingly Intricate

He asked how I'd heard of them, and I said you, my go-to person for services in Baltimore. "Oh yeah, she knows everyone." Hee.

Ha! Sort of! When I dropped my taxes off I asked if he'd heard from you and he was like "I've gotten so many recommendations through you." DUDE! Give me a discount! (Like my hairdresser used to.)

I am so unfocused today and that is NOT GOOD. I have a million pages of doc to finish today for a huge review at our gov't agency next week. But we go to Hopkins tomorrow morning to find out if Bob is just going to have to have surgery for his cancer or if he needs the radiation first then cancer (as they had originally thought). They are reviewing the results of one more test but they are thinking that they caught it so early that the radiation would provide no benefit; the surgery would take care of it. They actually have set a surgery date already just in case, March 24. But we won't know for sure until tomorrow. So much waiting and being patient. But we are cautiously very optimistic.
