But not everyone is keen to stop the mysterious knitter – and the mayor and many residents admit they have been enthralled by the rainbow of colours.
Susan Longacre takes a walk each morning in Wilbraham Park, where several tree branches have been covered in the handiwork of the Midnight Knitter.

That's awesome. I wish the article had pictures.
Fun info about beer: [link]
Vikings believed that a giant goat whose udders provided an endless supply of beer was waiting for them in Valhalla.
I made it into the office after working two days at home. I don't think this was a wise idea. I'm ready to fall asleep at my desk and I have a blazing headache. I don't even think a full strength caffeine IV would get me moving at a reasonable pace.
Now I'm trying to figure out how the Midnight Knitter knit those and got them on the trees -- the only way I can see is actually knitting them on the trees, with circular needles, unless there's some seam that the picture doesn't show.
Nevermind. I looked closer, and I do see seams.
Ugh. Sick day today. I'm really pissed at the current ER protocol.
I was trying to do the same thing Hil. Also, I don't think anyone could knit that fast, so they must be pre-knitted.
