This is not funny. This... this is a morality tale about the evils of sake.

Trust my rage

I came over here looking for something to distract me from my current inability to get enough of Matt Bomer. You people are not helping.

Because books.

I think we're the first ones up.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I'm up, at work, and waiting for the kids to come in (which should be in about 5 min.).

Because books.

Someone poured molasses into my internet this morning. I'm not pleased.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

YAY Megan.

Thank you Jesse, I may just skip it for a while.

I am not adjusted to the new arrangement of babysitters with mac after school, but no mother's helper except on Tuesday. I am getting nothing done during the week like I used to since mac wants to play with me when I get home, then we have dinner, dinner clean-up, bath and maybe a tv-show - then it's time for bed. Must adjust and figure out a way to get some chores done.

ION - today is bonus letter day. Everyone is expecting them to be bad and are grumpy. I am not used to getting bonuses so I really look at anything as super duper awesome. I can't wait.

Do you have any waffles or pancakes to sop up the molasses? Could be breakfast.

Okay, first bell just rang...need to wake up and get my mind on MLK's I Have a Dream speech.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I was up at 3 am again, but no one was here!

I am trying to decide whether or not to get the CSA share that we can get at work. It is actually a really good idea and I hope it takes off. The CSA is coming from several farms banding together, and they are trying to partner with businesses to do pick-ups at workplaces. My uni is the only partner so far, and the pickup is actually a 10 minute walk from my building. The problem for me is I am one person, and they do not have half shares, and I am not sure that I can eat enough fruits and vegetables to feed a family of four! I was trying to think of someone to split it with, and realized that there are only three unmarried people in the building who aren't living with their parents. And one of them is very, very, frugal and would never outlay $245, and the other does not eat any vegetables.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Um, as a costume person, the only quant I know is Mary Quant.

Quants, as I understand the term having read the awesome IOU: Why Everyone Owes Everyone and No One Can Pay, are super smart mathy folks who were sought out by the financial industry to come up with equations that justified every action they took that defied common sense. Like credit default swaps. Or that things would never ever go wrong or take a downturn.

I seriously recommend this book, BTW.

I had one thing I had to remember today: to bring my financials to work with me.

They are sitting on the staircase at home.

Sigh.

ND, That sounds interesting. I may have to pick it up, along with the Abigail Adams book recommended by Cashmere on Facebook. This kindle is not doing good things for my spending. I read too fast.
