Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I like to do "Love Is A Battlefield," but that's me.

So I'm watching the local news analysis show, and these two guys are trying to explain Chat Roulette to the middle-aged female host, and how 5-8% nasty isn't actually that high a percentage for the internet. Hilarious.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Earlier this afternoon, I wondered why I don't just listen to a lot of Prince while I work. Or "work." It turns out the answer is, because I literally stop doing anything else to sing along with most of the songs. Oops.

Hee! That is indeed the hazard.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was a middle-aged woman who didn't know what chat roulette was until a few minutes ago. The article I hit upon said they saw 11 penises in 30 minutes. 5-8% nasty is very good.

They said it varied by time of day -- she was saying the reporter who went on it got peen on his third hit.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I'm a big fan of I Will Survive. it's a feel good song, and even if you're not a great singer, people are with you on it.

The whole idea makes me clutch my pearls.

eta: err, of chat roulette and singing karaoke both. Though I get why people do the latter, ita no sing.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Well, it looks like my long personal nightmare is over. My sister paid the final bills on my Dad's trust today and I should have the money wired to my account tomorrow.

It looks like it's a few thousand more than I estimated. In any case, it is enough to pay off my grad school loans with a little to spare. And now, I'm no longer at the mercy of my sister's let's-keep-the-majority-in-one-tech-stock plan.

Because books.

Excellent, megan!

I've never karaoked, but I know I would if I'd had enough to drink. I never want to see chatroulette, though.
