Yup, javachik, it was in Maxwell Park. After we made the offer, they took it off the market--some sort of family dispute about the sale. My current location is better, anyway, even though the other place had a good sized fenced yard.

I'm such a dork. I got a letter announcing the Census and how I should be getting the form in a couple weeks. While I question the necessity of sending out a "it's coming!" letter, can't wait to fill the thing out. Yay civics!

I could have written these words EXACTLY.

So I'm so congested today that during AP I had to take a time out to catch my breath. No good no good!

Also, I received in the mail yesterday the cutest, teeniest, tiniest violin. One of my students is fixing the bridge and restringing and tuning it.

OH man. I'm so excited. I can't wait for Noah to play with it.

If you guys ever make it out here, and he likes playing it, I'll have to make sure to have my violist neighbor play with him. I love walking home from the pool and hearing strains of her music down the street.

Oh, and there is a renter on the corner who is a cellist, always hear him giving lessons. Apparently, enough string professionals on this block to make a quartet (I don't know who the fourth is.)

Jesus, I make everything about my house or my hood. I swear. It might wane. But this is the biggest love affair I've ever had, so I can't promise. I'm insufferable.
