It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

they said something about "all your post-dated checks" or "cheques," I guess. Do people give all of their rent che(ck)(que)s up front, to be cashed later?

It's often the practice, especially if it's a yearly lease.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think I would love that (see earlier posts re: forgetting to pay rent), now that I pretty much always have the rent money in the bank on time.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Jesse, are you watching Mike Holmes, aka my husband's man-crush?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, ouch. Uh, they never served us whale during our omakase. But I would be naive to be totally surprised they'd cross that particular line.

I think it would be easier on everyone all round. The landlord wouldn't have to hound laggards or wait for all the cheques to deposit them.

Whale is shocking (though I don't know why... we eat mammals all the time, just not marine ones). But what is more shocking is the $600 bill for two.

All of you Hump goers, is it always that expensive?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Sassy Gay Friend Saves Romeo And Juliet (VIDEO)

We like our gay friends sassy and reasonable. And Juliet Capulet certainly could've used a sassy gay friend as she was about to commit suicide. He would've doled out blunt advice like, "I think you're fourteen and you're idiot." Perhaps she wouldn't kill her self with such a good friend telling it like it is.

It's definitely pricey--Perkins and I have dropped some change on omakase, but not that much. I don't think we've had a single piece be $60, like the whale was.
