That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Perkins, that condo is ridiculously overpriced for this market!

!!!!!! So, how are Steven's Point schools? Hiring?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

smaller town/non-Chicago area midwest prices

Yeah, watching the house hunting shows on HGTV makes me wish I wanted to live in some of those places, but I just don't.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

My sister is such a douche--she just informed me that she will have the tax papers I need to do my taxes to me earlier than she did last year, by which she means "no later than April 10th".

Of course, this was in response to me telling her I will be out of town until late on April 11th.

I fully expect to pimp out every nearby house to me that goes on the market once we get moved. Good school district, cute houses, and ME!

While mine isn't that big or that neat, I do organize my clothes by type (pants, shirts, skirts, dresses) and color.

As is right and true. That's one of Trinny and Susannah's key points to overhauling your wardrobe.

My closets at the moment are a giant mess with things double hung and not even categorized by garmet type.

Because books.

I do it just so I don't forget about things. Easier to see all the shirts, all the skirts, etc.

Now tagless for your comfort.

So, how are Steven's Point schools? Hiring?

Ouch. Nope. We're in the middle of a bitter school referendum fight. The system has been running at a huge deficit for years due to the Feds & State not giving us the money they promised. Our current referendum funding runs out this year. It's already been knocked down at the polls once but they got it back on the ballot for next month.

The anti-tax backlash has been harsh but the school has cut every piece of fat out of their budget and put off a lot of expeditures until the economy gets better. People are screaming their heads off about how teachers need to take a pay cut or cut their benefits.

Things are going to get ugly if the referendumm fails again.

“Not dead yet!”

What does the closet of this condo say about the owner?

Yeah, serial killer with possible OCD.

While mine isn't that big or that neat, I do organize my clothes by type (pants, shirts, skirts, dresses) and color.

Ditto, except I don't organize by color as much as fabric weight. I, too, may have Issues.

Personally, I think everyone should move to the PNW. I think we're starting to get a majority rule around here.
