Well, helping people is wrong. People should help themselves. If they were responsible they wouldn't have built those shabby buildings and been so poor. Also those people are black so Obama is only doing it in a transparent bid to bolster his standing with the black vote and the bleeding hearts.
As for the crotch bomber, defending America from its foes is the only important thing that the Federal Government does. Ideally it should do this with very cozy and expensive contracts with the defense industry. He's weak on terrorism.

Rush Limbaugh says offensive things to attract attention to himself, because he is a narcissist. I wouldn't be surprised if he heard the Pat Robertson thing and decided that he had to one-up him.
Also, a lot of people are angry, scared, and xenophobic, and Rush provides a channel and a thin veneer of rationalization for their emotions.
