The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Neither is Beetlejuice.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

It would be excellent if they actually knew what horror was. At least half of those movies were NOT HORROR. Having a scary scene in a movie does not make it horror. Jesus.

THANK YOU.

Beetlejuice and Edward Scissorhands? Not horror. Fun, but not horror. Also, any scene from Poltergeist still makes me flinch away from the TV.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

holy bad hair.

and as a friend said " thinks that if you're going to do a tribute to horror movies, and say that it's been 37 years since the genre got any Oscar love (because that's when The Exorcist won two awards), you can't include anything from The Silence of the Lambs in the montage, because it WON BEST PICTURE AND ABOUT THIRTY OTHER AWARDS IN 1992!!"

OK, that dude's HAIR is a horror movie...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That wasn't a very scary montage at all. And being introduced by Lautner and Stewart lent it so little gravitas.

Because books.

Neither is Beetlejuice, or Silence of the Lambs, or a dozen others in there. So stupid.

Posted way late there, sorry.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I think Young Frankenstein can slip in as a parody of the genre. Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice, though, not really.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Ah, "boob roses" is from Fug Girls and "deflated" is one of my fellow watchers.

Yeah, many of those were not horror. Beetlejuice? Twilight?

That's just it! Twilight isn't even horror! Ugh.
