Mal: Gotta say, doctor, your talent for alienatin' folk is near miraculous. Simon: Yes, I'm very proud.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Beavers are pretty weird anyway.

I swear, y'all, if I start posting in here tomorrow, tell me to get my ass to work. I have a houseguest coming Monday to stay the week, and I really need to get my house clean and organized before she arrives, and I've been a big bag of Slack all week. The spare bedroom is clean and ready for her, at least, but I want to get the upstairs bathroom arranged for her to use, and the downstairs bathroom arranged for me to use (a girl likes to have her own bathroom), and it would be nice to have my office organized enough that I can look professional and actually work in there instead of slounging on the couch all day squinting at the laptop. And maybe I could put the laundry away and go to the post office and why have I put everything off until the last minute, again? Damn.

Because books.

It took me a minute to remember msbelle was watching the closing ceremony, I have to say.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I have a Brazilian sandwich (please stay clean, folks) coming.

Sandwiches are assuredly one of those things that should remain hairless. ("You know, I think I prefer your hair in a bun.")

msbelle is piling on the innuendo. Pass it on.

Channelled my stupid songstuck into signing petitions to get google fiber. I am totally old cranky man in the town meeting. Crazy.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Spring has sprung in Wisconsin. Our local ice cream place had its annual camp out for the first soft serve of the season. The kids and I went this afternoon. It was awesome.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Underberg bitters worked out all right in the champagne cocktail. Well, prosecco cocktail.

I'll have to see if I can get some Peychaud's, though. And some rye whiskey.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I stopped at the grocery store on the way home (needed milk) and bought Rose's as well.

I feel bon bon would be proud of me, even if ita isn't.

Tell him that before I had a tv, I watched the cat.

I'm glad he seems to be conciliatory for now.
