Where'd they get CAT scan from?... I mean, did they test it on cats? Or does the machine sort of look like a cat?

I am watching ASL versions of pop songs on Youtube. I kind of love them: [link] (note translations in the notes).

[ignoring terrifying Bureaucracy talk.]

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

If I get nothing done today, I blame all of you. Reading B1 from the beginning, and cracking up at this post from Jesse:

Hey, I have a bureaucratic question: Can the FAQ come off the geocities site now?

Geocities! Man, we're old...

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Really, the internets is just a series of tubes and cats.

My policy of mostly staying out of Bureaucracy is a sound one, I think. It's not that I don't care -- I do, so much in fact that it gets me highly emotional. About the best I can do instead is try to be a good B.org citizen.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I don't think I care that much. And my mealy-mouthed pleaser tendencies will certainly not add to quotable moments.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

mac is refusing school. This in a week where today was going to be my only day of getting in a full 7 hours. I get angrier at him by the minute.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I suspect it didn't cover exactly the same range of posts that John H's count did.

Exactly. The first list, that led to the Go14, was of the whole thread to that point. The second, which was actually posted on-thread, only covered whatever conversation we were talking about.

Anyway, I'm glad we got through (and past) all of that stuff.

Because books.

What happens if you tell him he doesn't have a choice, msbelle?

I have a tattoo appointment today, which I've been looking forward to for over a month. So ... I'm ignoring my (low) temperature and taking as many cold meds as I'm allowed. I want my new ink.

Too bad there's not a Truant Officer to give mac a talking-to....

What did you decide on, Amy?

Amy - Mar 05, 2010 4:07:24 am PST #13424 of 30001
Because books.

Stars for each book I've published, a Saturn (for S.), and possibly some embellishment to the existing crescent moon. All on my back.
