Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Laura, I can't imagine the gay community wouldn't have hated it. Not that it's renowned for subtle characterisation at the best of times...

Not javachik

How can that be a spoiler when the show aired last night?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

It's in the header.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I hadn't seen SVU in AGES and happend to last night.

How long has her head been that botoxed?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hey, does anyone know of general reception of last night's SVU? It's generally a crap show, but last night was pretty exceptional.

I don't know about general reception, but my reaction was pretty much, "Wow, this is even more ridiculous than usual." At least for the first hour. For the second hour, it was "Boring, boring, that's silly, boring, boring. Oh, we had to sit through all that just to get to this?"

I have absolutely NO FUCKING PATIENCE tonight. And so, of course, I'm getting thrown all sorts of patience trying things. Traffic, busy pool, litterbox messiness, a drippy faucet, a slow drain, the radiator cycling on and off (need to replace the thermostat with something a little smarter) AND GODDAMN LOKI LEAVE THE FOOD BINS ALONE.

Damnit.

Java, if you want to know about "Gus" you can probably get in touch with Fast Eddie through the TV Tropes site. He's assumed most of the details of Gus's life. I'm sure he could answer your questions.

Oh, the Rafmun thing was the origin of Nutty's Law! Cool.

I really have other things I should be doing.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I mean this and all subsequent posts to be perky and giggly:

FUCK Y'ALL.

Ahahahahahahaha!!!!

(I mean this post to be mysterious and quixotic.)

Steph, I think your summary is too kind.

I guess I'm trying to be nice after the fact, given how toasty things got towards me in that discussion.
