Woe to the fucking wicked.

Oooh, pretty.

I am eating Chex Mix for brunch. I just finished the lesson plan for my tutoring session today (musical notes as fractions), when I found out it was canceled. Just as well, as I should get dressed and start cleaning for the Beatles Rock Band gathering this afternoon.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I've seen a show about that cavern, it's amazing.

Yeah, in the link they talk about being there to film it. Perhaps that was the show you saw....

Now tagless for your comfort.

I was doing the preschool drop off and commiserating with other moms about coin swallowing.

Now I'm writing a column trying to mine this experience for comedy gold.

information libertarian

I forgot to subscribe to the new thread, that's where I was.

Neither work NOR public school was cancelled by our dusting of snow, though half the state seems to be closed (to be fair, they seem to have actually gotten some precipitation on the roads elsewhere - ours were dry.) To celebrate the bitter cold, we're going to weatherstrip our front door (that you can see daylight through) this weekend. Whoo.

Art Crawl!!!

The other day my sister-in-law posted this:

I think I just saw a Checkers ad that had a chicken/*double* cheeseburger sandwich. Really? Cause they're just not enough individually??

She lives in Baltimore - so you guys have a Doublemeat Palace? Because "It's a meat process" immediately sprang to mind when I read her post.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

It's snowing here, but not likely to accumulate more than an inch or two. (There's a little on the ground in Brooklyn, none at all in Manhattan.)

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I'm here. I just mostly lurk. Speed: intimidating!

Kitties! Of the non-house cat variety....

25 “Big Cat” Pictures As Captured By A Cat Whisperer

There are many excellent wildlife photographers, some of whom specialize in snapping shots of specific species. There is a photographer who has a uncanny knack for capturing images of big cats like the tiger, lion, jaguar, and leopard and the smaller “large cats” like the cougar, lynx and caracal. If he is a cat whisperer, wouldn’t all the kitties be clamoring to have this guy take their photo? Akishin Vyacheslav is a Russian photographer who is like a cat whisperer, traveling to zoos and reserves to snap shots that show us “how similar to human emotions” these cats can portray. Most of us have been around small domesticated cats, but using 25 of a cat whisperer’s extraordinary images, here are 10 large cats that we might not otherwise get close enough to say, “here pretty kitty kitty, smile for the camera.”

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

This weekend the DH and I are going to Tile! The Kitchen Backsplash! By Ourselves! Yikes!

Oh, and going to a movie of some sort on Saturday night.
