I am, perhaps unduly, horribly upset this morning. This is a block from my house [link] and one of those four is where Jon and I hang most evenings. It sponsors the rugby team and they drink there after games. We are friends with most everyone who works there. It's where we saw the Saints win the Super Bowl. Apart from us missing "our place" I think of the staff and what it means to them to have their workplace gone.

Jon's going to try to get local bartenders and waitresses to give up a shift to everyone displaced until they find something else.

Trust my rage

Warning: I thought I was buying Tropicana OJ yesterday but instead I got a gallon of "Trop50" which is sweetened with stevia juice and has half the calories of real OJ. Not sure what stevia is but it tastes like way too sweet crap.

Stevia is a plant, but yes can be very sweet.

Found the printer online and have the cartridges #s- Woot!

I really want to just go back home and go over to our friend's house and mourn with the rest of the neighborhood. I just can't say how unspeakably sad it is for our little hood.

That block has been essentially unchanged since the 1920's. Not many places in Dallas can say that.
