I just tried to explain the whole Gus thing to my DH. It's hard to get all the backstory included in any kind of coherent fashion. At least, I failed at it.
My therapist referred to Older Woman Syndrome during a recent session. My husband is three years younger than me. I like Cougar better than Older Woman Syndrome if there's a choice.

Some jackass ran a red light and t-boned my dad this afternoon. Dad's ok but his car is borked and he is shaken up pretty badly. They took him to the hospital for x-rays and some other tests. I think he'll be alright. Hope the other driver has decent insurance. Dad just managed to get his car fixed from where my niece wrecked it two months ago.

As a feminist, I have mixed feelings about the term cougar. As potentially applied to myself, I think it's hilarious, because I am definitely more of a gatherer than a hunter. In my head, anyway.
