I'm not a huge hockey fan, although I did grow up in MN. But I like thinking about thousands of people, or maybe millions, all watching and hoping. I felt the same way about the football playoffs and watching the World Cup while living in Brazil was awesome.

This is what it is for me. I watch things in winter and summer olympics that I wouldn't normally watch. But watching people going all out for a dream for which they have trained all their lives tears out my heart.
