Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I've just started watching the exhibition skating. Based on Joannie's performance, I'm assuming some of them change their music last minute. I didn't realize you could do that.

For the exhibition?

Love that Davis and White skated to the bluesy down tempo version of "Billie Jean."

I'm assuming that's David Cook, but again why aren't they saying?

The death conversation makes me laugh remembering how for a long time my niece went around randomly announcing matter-of-factly that "Gramps died." She spent a lot of time in the hospital with us.

Yes. I mean, I assume you have to get permission to use the music, so I would think it had to be planned. Of course, I have no doubt that they could have arranged it last minute with Dion, given her story.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

New babysitter coming over for a couple of get to know each other hours. Fingers crossed. Mac and I have role-played how things should go. Of course we role-played using polemon figures, but whatever works. Mac is starting to do well acting out real life situations with the figures to come to terms with things.

Oh, rights-wise. It might be something she uses sometimes or knew she might like to use and already has permission. Or maybe they don't need permission? Not sure how that works. Barb likely knows.

And, yeah, I can hardly see Celine saying 'no'.

I was thinking that, based on the lyrics, it was a recent choice. (It is essentially all about dying--leaving this earth, ending your suffering, flying toward the light.)

Of course, I cry at Morgan Freeman's VISA commercials, so I'm not sure that's saying much.
