Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Yeah, the Palmer Divide is very much a border. Storms often stop or start there. We used to live just south of there butnow we are way more south.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've been walking around the office with a stupid grin on my face this week. I have no idea why. I think my alter ego must be getting laid.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I used to work here. Sigh. I miss it, even though it broke me.

Wow. I love Colorado so much. We live on Cheyenne Mt. Now. It's so beautiful although your view of the mountains is better.

I discovered I can lift myself out of the pool easily without using my legs. I like having strong arms.

Short-eared cat from across the street must be hanging on the porch; Loki is attacking the blinds.

Wind is crazy out there. Pretty much like the blizzard, without the snow. Saw a collapsing awning from the snow finally come down the rest of the way. Heard a crash in the alley, hope it wasn't the rest of Kitmo coming down. ( Other Sarah built an enclosure for her cat on her deck and dubbed it such. It mostly collapsed in the last storm.)

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I wish that I had a life like sara's. I'm soft and doughy and fat these days. It's sort of a bummer. Or would be if I weren't preoccupied with other things.

I'm so sad I missed all the Gus reminiscing!

msbelle, I am so sorry and worried about you. I am sending calm thoughts your way.

In other news? I had a kid who left AP want to get back in after 3 weeks with my dunderheads... that was gratifying.

And I learned that FMLA pays for as long as my sick days and half pay sick days last and if I don't need 20 consecutive days, I don't need to go on an official leave of absence when Grace comes home. Cause, Grace? Coming home this May!
