Okay, I had to skip 1000 posts, but where did the Gus talk start? Like (I think) sj said, I would love to get to the bottom of the whole thing. Gus was around for such a long time. What a long time to maintain a sockpuppet.
Natter 65: Speed Limit Enforced by Aircraft
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Tommy, can you send me that address to my email addy?
I don't remember being told not to make more threads, but I do remember comments being made about how many we had. I do remember something about the post limit, but that's all my brain is giving me access to-"Something about post limits."
And really? 3 YEARS?!?!?! That was THREE YEARS AGO?!?!
This was my reaction too. When I saw the "2006," thought, no way it was that long ago. Wait, actually, my reaction was that 2006 seemed to be after he "died" here, so I went back to check, and sure enough. New Year's Eve. Still, that seems like such a long time ago.
I remember all the bugs in the TT threads. Remember when we lost a day or two worth of posts? Happened several times. And there was other weird wonkiness in post dates.
Hats off to all the awesome Buffista coders - b.org has (mostly) been more stable than TT.
Also when there was first talk of Table Talk going pay and talk of us moving I was really worried because I had a been apart of another group where something similar happened and that group of people just kept talking about doing something and never did.
I was worried the same thing would happen to the Buffistas.
where did the Gus talk start?

Thanks, Tom. Searching for "Gus" got me, of course, nothing.
Scola, I meant to say this yesterday. Thank you for linking to that article.
Who wants some msbelle hilarity from Bureau 1?
ok ok - I will support Natter V. Natter, but Cheese better NOT become another Monkeypants.
I snapped. I sent an email to Annalee about the Buffista paragraph. Apparently I can't let things go at all.
Don't expire from surprise.

I like to err on the side of duplicate posts, when I can.
Did we have a Bureau at TT? Okay, *that's* annoying.
I was totally anti-Natter too. That historical stance I'll back off of. All the rest I was completely right about.
