I love Craig Ferguson so much! Although I occasionally get him mixed up with Colin and think he is ita's friend. But he is definately an M in the FCM game.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

But he is definately an M in the FCM game.

Oh yes.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ooh. Anybody want to go to Milwaukee with me to see this?

Corpse flower to bloom at Milwaukee museum

MILWAUKEE - A nearly seven-foot tall exotic plant will soon stink up the Milwaukee Public Museum.

A titan arum plant, also known as a "corpse flower," is preparing to flower. Museum curator of botany Neil Luebke expects it to occur within the next two weeks.

The flower is known for its odor of rotting flesh. It comes in waves and attracts carrion beetles and sweat bees in its native rain forests of the Indonesian island of Sumatra.

The titan arum is technically the world's largest unbranched cluster of flowers.

It takes at least six years to flower and is a descendent of the University of Wisconsin-Madison's flower.

I wonder if that'd work as a pickup line. "Hey baby, wanna go see the corpse flower?"

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I saw/smelled a corpse flower at the DC botanical gardens a few years ago. They're huge, in addition to hugely stinky.

Because books.

I am completely in love with Craig Ferguson. Happily, I think S. is, too.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I don't think the bat bombs were ever deployed.

To cross threads (I posted this in Literary this morning), there's a hugely cool (and funny as hell) part in Scott Westerfeld's Leviathan where bats are used as weapons. It's excellent and really fucking clever.

ION, apparently I will never ever ever get my laptop back from the repair place. I'm having DTs, man!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Damn, there are all these fucking cop cars on my street. And a fire truck. And when I pulled in, I passed an ambulance.

I live across from a high school, and apparently there was a fight during the basketball game, and people got pepper sprayed, and they pulled a gun off someone, and I don't even know. What the hell, my neighborhood.
