Harken: You fought with Captain Reynolds in the war? Zoe: Fought with a lot of people in the war. Harken: And your husband? Zoe: Fight with him sometimes, too.

'Bushwhacked'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Pix, glad your family is away from the badness and okay.

smonster, that was a horrible date. Here's hoping the one this week will be better!

I'm feeling better. But, I made jello and got all sweaty and tired. Making jello. That's sad and ridiculous. I also ate some soup and now my tummy is rumbling. I hope it's just digestive rumblings and not a portent for reappearance.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This is funny....

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My university canceled classes for tomorrow. I might stop by my office to pick up some of my notes and stuff so that I can work on my dissertation at home. I'm not too good at concentrating while I'm at home, but I know that working in my office when the university is closed will be too creepy.

The status is NOT quo.

I finally got Aims' excellent speech up on YouTube. Link is in Beep Me, but I'll x-post here: [link]

Aww, it takes on new levels of allergy-inducement actually seeing it. Beautifully done, Aims. And written, MM, of course.

I love how Joe & Aimee come together to create the perfect toast because it's not just what he wrote, it's how she read it, you know?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Awww! You guys! Well, it wouldn't have been nearly as awesome if the couple we were toasting weren't pretty freaking awesome themselves.

I think what I'm trying to say is: it takes one to know one

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Sorry, smonster. We turned off our phones for the movie and didn't turn them back until we were in the middle of dinner. (And I don't remember Breadman's sucking that much. It's gone downhill since I was in college, or maybe I was just hungrier then.) And I'm sorry that the date didn't go well.
