Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

'Life of the Party'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

I need to get my butt out the door and go buy Superbowl provisions. And finish cleaning my house.

I don't know how many people we will have so I need to be flexible with the provisioning. I'm also trying to decide what to do about Bobby. We do more doctoring on Monday (MRI), but one of the possible diagnoses we are considering is mono. If we have a bunch of teens here I don't want them all to get sick. I'll have to talk to him again about double dipping and drinking from shared containers and stuff. Also might text his doctor for his opinion.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Best of luck with Bobby's health. Much ~ma for you and him.

Also, some patience~ma for Shir while her parents are sick.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Okay, speaking of lights in the sky, has anyone heard about the lights over Norway on Dec 9th?

Some examples from the 'net:

From a UFO site, but they have several pics and an interview with an eyewitness:

And form Discover, which thinks it might be a failed Russian rocket test: [link]

Me? I think a Stargate opened.

Our wings are not tired.

Wow, those pictures are incredible. People must have freaked out.

Bobby has promised not to swap saliva until we know what is going on.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

That is very definitely a rocket test of some kind. We've had a few out here on the west coast, where the military was testing ballistic missile intercept systems, and that is exactly what it looks like.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Happy Sunday, everyone! I had glorious sleep last night uninterrupted by evil neighbors. Today we're babysitting for a friends little boy.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Hey, Bitches. So, I've spent the past 37 hours with my evil friend, Food Poisoning. At least that's what I think it was. I think the worst of it is over now. I can keep water down now, which is a plus. I am sore all over and still feel icky, though.

I'm going to try eating a cracker. Wish me luck.

“Not dead yet!”

Oh dear. Seems like My Bitches and families are seriously dealing with the ick. WTF, Universe?

Much ~ma for everyone.

Today, so far, has been a lazy, lovely morning, although the one downside is the Sunday paper seems to have not been delivered. Bah.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Poor, Chi. Good luck with crackers!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Wow. ~mas galore, Chikat. You friend is evil.

I would like to download the contents of Shir's brain into mine

My, thank you! And, you do know I keep a mostly-academic blog these days, right? (with possibly a new entry tonight).

And, btw, you guys rock. My mom is already feel better. Don't know about my dad.

But, and however, I'd like to keep the ~ma to my mom, and pass your future ~mas to my dog. Short version of the story: doggy's been little bit weird lately, but not really weird. However, doggy started panting weird every once and a while. Doggy was taken to the vet today. Vet took blood, and tomorrow urine samples, and doesn't want to start and make assumptions, but seems like something is wrong with Louie. Could be his heart, could be not. Whatever it might be, will know more in a day or two. Vet, of course, is being wise with the not-jumping-to-conclusions thing, but we are worried. Louie, given what he's been through today, is in an excellent mood.
