P-C, what was the clog made of? How long have you been in the apt? If short time, I would argue that there wasn't enough time for a gent with short hair and no gf to clog the drain that far down.
I've been here over three years and never had a drainage issue in the tub before.
Aww, Logo is showing School Hard right now.
My snow photos start here: [link]
I'm really enjoying all the snow pictures. Very pretty.
In our exploring, last week a gallery was taking down a show for one artist and mounting one for several, in various media. "We're expecting a lot of Vancouver traffic, and we want to show off our local artists." Early this week, we passed a commercial dairy farm and a church which are going to be Park-n-rides. At both locations, fleets of shuttle buses, hundreds of them, with "vancouver 2010" and the Olympics symbol emblazoned on their sides.
We can see White Rock across the Straight of Georgia from Blaine, where we drive through occasionally. Yesterday we drove into Canada to White Rock to look back at Blaine. White Rock is a gorgeous little resort town full of shops and restaurants and houses carved and terraced onto the hills down to the shore. It reminds me a lot of coastal towns in Italy in the movies, or of Sausalito. There were a couple of guys in white running suits with "Russia" emblazoned across the back, posing for pictures with the locals.
So, we've been 'sploring, and I don't regret it.
But I look at Barb's office pictures and realize how far from finished my office--and my living room--are. But I console myself with the thought that there will be wall-to-wall built-in shelves to counter height across the end wall, and floor-to-ceiling built-ins on either side of the big window. That'll be home to a lot of books, plus photographs and the odd bibelot.
Built-in bookshelves in the bedrooms, too. Plus there are several book-donation places here, in case we decide to do another cull.
I do have pictures I need to put up, of intermediary stages. I should get on that.
Askye, how funny. And a little bit sad that an adult can't comfort himself with what's available.
sj, I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I can't think of a thing to do about it, other than braining the woman with an iron skillet next time you meet. Oh no, that's my fantasy encroaching on your reality. I hope things get better.
Uptown Cafe Midtown. The guy doing the bbq is Jimbo so Fred has a stamp and menu's that say Jimbo's BBQ @ Uptown.
Beverly, our fantasies line up quite well. Things are luckily quiet this evening. I'm really hoping it will stay that way. We are babysitting tomorrow, and I will be a complete wreck if I go a second night without sleep.
From that sex "toy" link:
"She doesn't vacuum or cook, but she does almost everything else..."
Fuck you, Douglass Hines. I don't often get violent, but if I ever see you in person, I will punch you in the face, you misogynist, sexist asshole.
Hil, those are fab pics. Vortex, wow! it looks deeper at your place. Either way, to all the MidAtlantic Buffistas, take care and watch your step.
So I am fretting. Trying to think how to ask for some days off to fly to CA for second interview. It's tough when your boss is a friend of 12 years. The timing is horrid, as we load in 4 shows in quick succession.
Can they interview you over a weekend, Omnis?
