We're proud to say that the Class of '99 has the lowest mortality rate of any graduating class in Sunnydale history.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Adorable Family Moment: All of us hanging in the kitchen, listening to iTunes, and singing "I'm No Superman" (theme song from Scrubs).

So cute!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

The Girl was very worried to be having to hold both a hymn-sheet and a candle. When she did that at the advent carol service, she set the hymn-sheet alight.

I know I shouldn't think that's adorable, but I do.

Congrats on getting confirmed, and all without setting anything afire!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Congrats, now-confirmed-Seska!

Final wasn't too bad. And I got 95 in Social Theories, Part 1, so yay!

Also, just returned from spending a hell lot of money (1450 NIS) on a porny receiver and decent speakers for my turntable. Am feeling corrupted, but mostly, so tired.

Speaking of porn, I promised you something. Coming right up!

I'm getting the pig!

Barb, I'm graphicjayde72 (I think) on flickr. I just added you.

smonster, all good vibes to the foster kitty. I've tried pumpkin with our cats and they refuse to touch it, whether it's mixed in with something or not. I hope you have better luck with it. I hear it works great if you can get it in the cat.

Tep, vibes to you and the boy and your furry family. Poor pup.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Grrr. Stupid Flickr refuses to upload the porn.

ION, Nicole, I just wanted to say that the silicone baking dish you sent me is now being used at least 3-4 times per week.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Teppy - I don't know if dalmatians are as susceptible to this as beagles, but it sounds like what Ollie went through...a slipped disc.

If so, there's good news: it's easily treatable. We had to keep Ollie somewhat isolated so he wouldn't jump on stuff and exacerbate it, but some rest and fairly cheap steroids prescribed by the vet, and he's just fine now. Back to jumping, frolicing, and his usual energetic idiocy.

MM, thanks. I googled slipped discs in dogs, and the symptoms certainly sound the same. We're hoping to get her to the vet tomorrow. She's doing the same today -- can stand a little, can walk a little, but her back legs keep sliding out from under her if she stands for too long on a non-carpeted surface. So now she's mostly sacked out on her bed, and doesn't want to eat or drink.

D: I like to EAT because I think that's fun!

I would like to subscribe to Dylan's newsletter.

Success!

In the main entrance. I could, and sometime am, to stare at them for very long minutes.

So. So. Pretty.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Chocolate marshmallows are in the pan and hopefully will set up properly by tomorrow. I really should buy a candy thermometer for situations like this. (i.e., situations where I'm cleaning the kitchen and notice that I have somehow wound up with *three* boxes of cocoa powder and think to myself "I should make chocolate marshmallows to use some of this up." You really never know when the mood will strike!)

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Congrats, Seska!

Lucy's issues seem to have resolved themselves, at least for now. She's curled up next to me on the couch. I need to get my butt in gear and get dressed so I can go to the store. I think my list may be a little overambitious, considering I'm going to be carrying them home on potentially icy streets.

I'm getting the pig!

Very cool, Shir. I'm glad it's useful for you. I absolutely love the silicone baking stuff that I have so far.

I'm glad Lucy's feeling better, smonster.

Chocolate marshmallows are in the pan

YUM! Want.

Somehow my packing for a work trip has motivated DH to organize all of his paperwork. Hmm.
