Home schooling? You know, it's not just for scary religious people anymore.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Barb, I am... going to check Arch.Safe.

Others here may feel free to friend me as well. I'm currently working on turning my Flickr account into mostly family pictures between 1930 and 1970, and it's a work in progress - I have several hundreds of them.

Librarian Warlord

I am lili_beth on flickr.

News this morning that my DH's 19 year old cousin who has never had a boyfriend (until now) and who has the usual self esteem problems that come with being a teenager is getting married in April. I really hope this is happy news.

IOW, hello, Erin! I'll be in KC in April!

I promised you library porn.

So here's part 1: [link] that's the entrance after you're past the entrance. I'm taking the camera with me to campus tomorrow, so I hope it'll make more sense than. They're missing the true beauty of it, really, but I won't spoil you guys until tomorrow.

Seriously, is there any wonder why I don't leave this place, for hours?

Ooh, Shir, I love when libraries are designed to keep people there! I especially love the chair and lamps in the magazines' reading hall. *Especially* the lamps.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Signs You Have Becom Acclimatized To Winter Environs:

You step outside for a cigarette, and it takes until you're half done before you realize A) It's cold, and B) You hate winter.

And then you weep.

Or, you would, except your tears are frozen solid inside the tear ducts.

Do you know how hard it is to freeze salt water?

I, indeed, keep a fantasy to get "accidentally" locked inside the library for a night. I mean, there's interwebs, bathroom and a hell lot of books. I just should bring enough food and blankets and have a hootenanny.

If I ever get another tattoo, it will be a semi-colon. I've talked about this for a while, but I just don't know if I want another tattoo.
