Now, this would be the perfect time for a swear word.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm glad you're done with the pick line askye, and I hope that took care of everything.

Barb, I envy you your cook books. Goodness.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

What can I make with chocolate chips besides just regular chocolate chip cookies? I bought a bag of chips, but I feel like doing something more interesting than the regular cookies.

All is well that ends in pizza.

In Jr. high shop class I made a hardwood rolling pin for my father. He was an army mess Sargent and hated the tiny rolling pins out there, he was always barking his knuckles.

First I glued together several one inch wide strips of hardwood of various colors (Oak, mahogany, etc) and then used a lathe to trim it down to a 4+ inch Cylinder, and then further down on the ends to make a nice set of handles built-in.

He liked it so much I later made a matching cutting/rolling board of about 24x30 inches.

He had a canvas carrying case made for them at a local awning company, and I got the whole set back when he died.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Hmm. Do I want to try this soap? "Lemony black tea with milk, English Lavender and Roses beneath a thick layer of dust."

I have a hard time passing up something named "Miss Edith."

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Great name but I am not a fan of things scented Rose. But it's the only thing that would stop me from trying it. I might poke around for other soaps of theirs.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

You know the soap doesn't really catch fire, right?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Villainess is supposed to be pretty good. I should check out their chocolate scent offerings.
