'Serenity'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

((((beth)))). Sorry to hear that.

I think baked goods with the recipe makes a fine gift.

“Not dead yet!”

Awww... big hugs for Andy Cat and his people.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

{{beth}}

That sounds like a baked goods occasion, sj.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Baked goods works.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry, beth.

The status is NOT quo.

Oh, Beth. I'm so sorry. Hugs to you and DH and Andycat.

Anne, I hope your work malaise lifts. It's so hard to hit that burned out feeling.

Ann, that's a ferret.

((((Beth))) """"Andy""""

(Or is there another emoticon for skritches?)

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{{beth and Andy Cat}}} I am so sorry.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Well, it's only "possible" right now, right? All good thoughts that's not it, that it's really something simple and easy to fix. And if that is it, then all courage and strength to Andy and his humans, and hugs and skritches and patches of sunshine and the best noms.

Anne, patches of sunshine and noms to you too. Gentle stretches (Jeeves can show you how) and languid, purposeful sofa-inhabiting.

Oooh, thanks for the zennioptical site. I have a brand new pair of reading/midrange bifocals packed away somewhere because I didn't get back to Lenscrafters to have them tweaked before we left. I doubt I'm going to be able to wear them; the lens frames are heavy plastic and I don't think the delicate wire temple pieces are going to be able to balance them well enough to prevent headaches from the weight on the bridge of my nose and all that related muscle tension. A new pair seems a better idea, especially at those prices.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Baked goods just doesn't seem like enough. He really worked hard and didn't have to.
