No, it's shiny! I like to meet new people. They've all got stories...

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Bitches, will ya give a sista a hand: what do you make out of this?

I just want to go there as an audience, not to suggest myself, accidentally, as a speaker. That's the link for the wannabe audiences at TED, right?

The status is NOT quo.

Three days, three days. I will be on the West Coast in three days.

SQUEE!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Looks like that is what you want, Shir.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Thanks, -t.

It's really weird, filling application just to be an audience. Prefer paid tickets and incognito attendance.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Shir, you should totally go. (Also, you should fly over to this part of the world and come to some sociology conferences with me. Yes.)

Writing is hard work. Book review nearly done. Go me. There is wine now. That should make the last few paragraphs either amusing or incoherent.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Bleargh. I slept most of the day. I was going to write thank you emails to all the people who interviewed me today, but I think that might have to wait until tomorrow, because I have no energy to do anything. I'm making some spaghetti now, for lunch I guess, and then I'll have to figure out something to have for dinner.

Sure! Yes! Oh wait, no money!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Sorry about the bad nights, Hil and smonster. May the day improve.

Happy Birthday to Laura's baby boy!

Nora, the second "this", to the "Keen Commuter Bag : A Trail Tough Street Bag" made of hemp? That would be my choice, just because the inner layout looks well thought out and adequately padded. My second choice would be the Haiku bag, your "Option 2". I have a bag similar in appearance I got at B&N, and have gotten scads of compliments on. I have carried my 15.5 laptop in it, with peripherals, but it's not really designed structured or padded well enough to do that regularly. It works well as an oversized purse-briefcase-messenger bag. I would strongly recommend a bag with a padded adjustable strap you can carry on either shoulder, worn cross-body to distribute the weight better, with the bag carried at the hip, or in front or in back of the body depending on circumstances.

If you can find the neoprene bag locally? Go take a look, and more importantly, a sniff of it in person. One I ordered I had to return because the smell of it was too gaggeous to endure, despite a week of "airing it out" before I tried to use it. Kinda tragic, it was really cute!

Always Anti-fascist!

Believe it or not, I feel you on this, Windsparrow...we already fight about politics too because my brother has a real establishment streak that I can't share, being, like, Snot Boogie and shit. "They were supposed to let me play. This America, man." I really believe he's what our district needs...it's just easier to believe that when he isn't a butthead cause he hasn't eaten in hours and bitching cause people aren't buying life insurance.
