VW, great to see your pixels again. Is the beeping your smoke detector? Maybe the battery gone dead? Or maybe, do you have a battery back up for your computer? Maybe the UPS battery is dying?
I picked up my suit today. And a new pair of slacks. While in CA for the soiree, it seems I have an interview down in Orange County. I think I'll be the first. Not sure what to bring with me. List of all shows? Oy that would take forever. Another copy of resume? They got it 3 ways from the website application.
I'm also debating should I buy a cheap-o laptop/netbook for the trip rather than bringing work Macbook. Either pawn shop cheap-o or something cheap from Best Buy. But also thinking about new iPod, since my old one click wheel doesn't work, thus making it useless. Can't afford both.
Also, should I set up car rental now via online? Or when I land in LA?

I always book car rentals ahead of time, it simplifies things so much when you arrive.
If you are just thinking a little Netbook, I'd pick up whatever is on sale at Best Buy.

I know that Hertz typically has the Prius available as a rental, I believe National also has them in their fleet.
