I am a large, semi-muscular man. I can take it. Don't hide behind Mal 'cause you know he'll shoot it down for you. Tell me.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Good luck with the IV antibiotics, askye.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

askye, I hope the heavy schedule proves worth it. Much health~ma.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

shrimp risotto update: Tom salvaged it by adding some acid (vinegar) and more seasoning (Old Bay), coating small patties in breadcrumbs, and frying them up!

Also, I now own a netbook which is adorable beyond all reason.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Jealous of the netbook, Nora! I want one so badly.

Liv has a friend over today and I love watching them play together. It defies reason that two 3 year olds are easier to take care of than 1, but it's true!

Cash, this is the one I got: [link]

it's really small, but I've been using a really small laptop for a while so the transition should be relatively smooth.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm planning on getting one next year so I can give this laptop to the kids.

“Not dead yet!”

Yay for Seska! (And yes, Dr. Seska does sound vaguely evil.)

askye, I hope that the antibiotic regime doesn't prove to be TOO terrible.

InunpackingN, I really loathe unpacking wardrobe boxes. It's easy enough getting hanging clothes out, but if stuff is down at the bottom, it's a pain, because I'm just too short to easily lean in. Plus they're unwieldy as shit to break down.

Thrive to spite them

So the plans have changed. Turns out my doctor wants the antibiotics administered over a longer period of time and the hospital didn't want to do that so now Home Health Care is going to come and show me what to do and I'll be doing it at home. I need to go and get a lab slip and tomorrow go get some labwork done to make sure that my kidneys can handle the treatment

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

See, I'm waiting to see if/when Apple announces its tablet, because I figure Macbook prices will drop like a stone.

Wow -- that's fairly intense! Is it the same antibiotic, or a different one?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Oh, Askye, what a pain for you! I am glad you are getting good treatment, but I wish it didn't have to be so much work.
