Bunnies frighten me.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Well dang. I found an absolutely perfect dress at Nordtrom rack today that totally covers my ugly cast-boot and makes my glasses look like a fashionable accessory. Sadly, it was one size too small and no longer available anywhere else. Something about last year's model. Sheesh, why is fashion so quick to change.

Also, my older cat is wheezing. Like, i can hear him wheezing from across the room. He doesn't seem concerned or to be acting differently, should i be concerned?

eta: and apparently petite sophisticate no longer exists. WTF?!?!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Gronk. I fell asleep around 7, then woke up around midnight. Trying to decide whether tired, hungry, or achy will win out in deciding what to do now.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Why not, I do not have a rage problem.

I do, however, have a problem with people messing up with my not-free-time and screwing me and expecting me to take it wonderfully and not bitch about it. And preventing me from having my breakfast, which is getting cold in the kitchen, at the same time. And reheating french toast sucks, and with that I lost the little studying momentum I had left to begin with.

"Oh yes, 5 minutes". "No, wait, we'll need 10 more minutes". "I'm gonna ask you another 15 minutes, OK?".

Not, not bloody OK. I'm stressed above and beyond with my exams and that's the fucking reason I'm not going with you to visit the sister, OK? So why acting as if I'm exaggerating when I'm saying it's not OK and I need the time to study and I did something which I only thought will take a second, not freaking 20 minutes which I can't freaking spare?

That's the last time I'm doing something nice for my dad when I don't have free time, dammit.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Karson-with-a-K is far from the most egregious creatively spelled baby name I've seen. He probably won't even be the only one in his class.

But the others will be spelled carsohn, kahrsun, ...

((Shir)) I have a husband who won't wear a watch, so I know what that's like.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

OK. I'm fine now. Took a few deep breaths, and more importantly, had coffee and read the entire material of the semester.

This just pings me on a subject I'll have to talk with my dad at some point, the whole "you can do whatever you'd like as long as it's not too much in the way of what I need".

Break for Dollhouse now. The rest, later.

Don't forget the girls - there's sure to be a Karsyn in there somewhere too!

“Not dead yet!”

Flyby. I've missed something along the lines of 300+ posts, so I'm just offering lots of hugs and hairpats all around to those what needs 'em. Although I did read enough to see Shir's about to lose her mind (don't sweetie, not worth it and we like your mind just the way it is) and Aims' dealings with her creative little con artist.

Darling Aims, you and Joe are wonderful parents-- the fact that this concerns you so much is evidence of how much you love and care and in the end, that goes such a long way. Also, Em's only five-- it's magnificent that she's got concerned teachers and incredibly involved and loving parents and that you're noticing these little things before they escalate into big things. With all your love and care, it can't help but sort itself out, just be patient and above all, be GOOD to yourself. You say you're concerned about Em's self-doubt and self-deprecation, but you need to be concerned about your own as well. We all just tend to muddle along, I promise.

ImeN, pets made it to us late last night. Everyone made the trip okay, but there was so much adrenaline that poor Jasmine has been having accidents inside the house. We suspect she held it in the entire trip which has perhaps triggered the beginning of a UTI. Now I have to attempt to get a urine sample from her and take her into her new vet this morning. Thank goodness I had the foresight several weeks ago to research vets and get them registered with a nearby vet hospital. Sometimes, being an anal-retentive Virgo really pays off.

I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.

Barb Can you tell me how you transported your pets during your move? I'm moving cross-country in late March and am trying to figure out how to get my big, sweet, idiot of a dog to the new place. I think she could be in the cargo hold on the plane with us but am wondering about other options.

There are a few talks that I really should go to today, but I am totally burned out on math, so I'm going to go down to Fisherman's Wharf and be a tourist instead.
