Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

Trust my rage

In re Haiti -- WTF?

And it's totally for helping Haitians as long as they stay in Haiti.

Scrappy, how long have you been taking it? Going cold turkey off a moderate dose of an SSRI -- which is what Lexapro 10 mg/day is -- can have very VERY bad side effects.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Maybe two years, Tep.

Okay. I *strongly* suggest you taper off of it. Two years is a long time to be taking an SSRI, and the withdrawal syndrome is pretty well known. In fact, even people who taper have some side effects. But going cold turkey is likely to make you really, really sick.

I'm surprised that your doctor would have you just stop taking it cold turkey. That's not very wise.

Google "SSRI withdrawal syndrome" -- it's not fun.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Thank you all so much for the hairpats and support. I really needed to hear voices of reason right then to stop the glaring red of embarassment and angry behind my eyes. Some chill out time (and eating my feeling at Qdoba) with rational folks like ya'll really helped.

Will do. And I will call the doctor about this. Thanks, y'all!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

It's been hella cold lately, and I walked to work because my car was in the shop (I'm a horrible person, but when it's 30 degrees, I'm driving). Due to the aformentioned walking, I wore pantyhose under my pants to keep warm. It was unnecessary, as it is now 46 degrees outside. So, yay warmth, boo being hot.

Aims, it's probably not going to be much comfort to you in the near future, but Emeline's response to the teacher shows she's smart, she thinks fast and she has a good grasp of human nature. Ultimately, I bet you'd rather have that child than a sheep. Thinking back to myself at that age, I wonder if she's bored.
