I get confused. I remember everything. I remember too much, and... some of it's made up, and... some of it can't be quantified, and... there's secrets.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Which reminds me, I called Brokeback Mountain slash this morning in the Fanfic thread. I need to go correct that. Doesn't fit with my personal lexicon.

I read that this morning and thought, "But it's canonical. Unless it's the girls. Which is really more femslash. SHUT UP, BRAIN, you know what she means."

BUT! I didn't say anything. Which I think means I have grown as a person.

Also I'd found a gnat in my tea and was paralyzed with the gnatsyness of that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Which I think means I have grown as a person.

I appreciate the grace period for me to get my wits about me and correct myself. It bothered me my whole drive into work, although it took me until now to get around to correcting it. I will totally edit hours if not days later, just so archives will be a wee bit more correct.

The what-I-term-sloppy usage of the term slash is now creeping into my own usage, and I resent it. I must be strong.

I just edited a typo I made three hours ago. I didn't notice it when I posted. But once I saw it, I couldn't just ignore it and move on.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

There's so much power in just staying silent sometimes, even when you know the answer.

And then when you do speak, people tend to pay more attention to you.

Aims, I didn't learn to read until 1st grade (a perfectly normal time to learn, developmentally speaking), and I'm in Mensa. It's not always a smart or not smart issue.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

More fb chatting with Chicago friend. Plus he called me today "for no reason." He's totes the anti-KBD. So refreshing! If only he didn't live in Chicago!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

smonster, do you have my phone number?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Okay, I finally got a halfway decent photo of my new short hair.

I might have neglected to comb it first.
