Saffron: You're a good man. Mal: You clearly haven't been talking to anyone else on this boat.

'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Cash, you definitely have to send pics of that to the actual Mythbusters. They would be so smitten. That's fabulous. I was just laughing to myself about how many of my friends, here and elsewhere, reference Mythbusters as a definitive information source in everyday life. Think how much more it's going to be for kids like Leif and Owen!

The wedding photos are unbelievably gorgeous. Pix especially is so lovely.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Erika, do you mean generation gap? Because otherwise I'm confused.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah. I mean, I know men have them too, obviously. But I think their ways of dealing with it are more established. And there's always that thing about not getting each other's music and junk like that, but in terms of feminism, it seems that all of the generations involved seem to feel they aren't getting respected, or something. I mean, of course even politics can't keep mothers and daughters understanding each other at all times, obviously.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

erika, do you read Tiger Beatdown? I'm not sure how much transitioned over from her previous blog (at blogspot) but a while back she had some awesome stuff about Andrea Dworkin.

Also, I LOVE HER.

Java, I'm so glad that the rest of your trip improved, and I hope we will get a chance to "meet" next time you are in town.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Cash, you really should send that into their website--Jamie and Adam would totally get a kick out of it!

They totally would.

I'm back. My tongue is tingly. I have lots of gauze in my mouth. It was very weird to only feel half the cup from which I sipped milk to take my vicodin. Apparently I have cute little roots, so yanking the teeth went quickly, and produced teeth the dentist wanted to show off. To me. In the middle of the procedure. I said, "Have I mentioned, I'm squeamish?" so he stopped showing me. Thank you.
