Buffy: How bored were you last year? Giles: I watched 'Passions' with Spike. Let us never speak of it.

'Beneath You'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Link me, Dana? I still have RPF issues impulses, and wish to disturb no one with them. Reading old posts might help.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I hate doing family tech support. Especially from afar. Over the shoulder is better. Moving so I can sit down and actually fix things is best if I have to do it at all.

I love reading Dana's 'Previously on b.org..."

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Fuck. The oil light went on in my car, which was odd because the guy told me that he had put oil in the car when he did the brakes. I thought that he hadn't tripped a sensor or something. I got out of the car later, and smelled burning oil, so I checked the dipstick. BONE DRY. I took it back in, he says that he put oil in the car, I say "hey, I'm not saying that you didn't, but the dipstick is dry" (plus, I'm already pissed because the supposedly new rotors are rusted, and he tells me that's normal). So, he puts three quarts of oil in the car. I drive home, park the car in the garage where I know it's clean and as I walk out, I see oil on the fucking ground. SHIT.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm zooming through the thread pretty quick, so I don't really have links to a post number. But the first discussion starts not very far into the thread.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Whoa. I just got another interview.
I WAS RIGHT! Now if only I could predict winning lotto numbers, I'd be a billionaire!

Our wings are not tired

Vortex if it is a lot of oil then he may have left out the drain plug or not screwed it in correctly. Was this at the dealer?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I took one lactation class at the hospital after D was born (which was really helpful in showing me how to hold him at the right angle) and depended a LOT on my mom's La Leche League experience from when she was nursing me and my sibs.

Best piece of advice she gave me for sore nipples is to let them air dry after nursing as much as you can. (Obviously doesn't work so well in public.)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Fuck. The lock on our back door just broke, as in the key does nothing when you turn it from the outside, but it still works from the inside. I can't use the front door because there is no railing. Good thing TCG will be home for a couple of days.

Trust my rage

My birth class had a breastfeeding week and I did read a million books. My hospital had a bad lactation consultant. My doula was also a big help, but mostly we just muddled through. That was for Ellie. Frisco actually had more nursing issues but I was pretty competent/confident by then.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Related to the xkcd flow chart that Hil was looking for on what to do when someone asks you for tech help, AND related to the earlier comic I linked about 10 words to stop misspelling, Why It's Better To Pretend You Don't Know Anything About Computers.
