'Sleeper'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Man, I remember when sj and TCG were a blind date, and she was all nervous, and then on the second date he brought her a teacup, and it was FATE.

It was more five weeks of meeting up with friends

I thought it was a blind date! Man, 5 years go by and I start to forget all the little details... (smiley emoticon)

(Actually, I have to confess that Facebook has gotten me in the habit of using emoticons. I'm so ashamed.)

Me too! Of course, there are all these school children whose birth-and-post seems like yesterday.

I'm home. Yay! It was pretty much rush-hour traffic for about half the time, apparently because of many, many cars. Mr. Peabody now knows the route well enough to bark at all the rest center exits.

My cousin was crazy yesterday and crazier today, but did not reach the scary levels of last year. This morning she went on and on about how she wants to rent, because her husband will never, ever do anything about the house and because she doesn't want him to have to keep working seven days a week. I trust the cognitive dissonance in that is obvious. I said something to the effect that I'd only move out of a house to a condo somewhere like Decatur, because you can walk to shopping and restaurants. She then screamed that she would never live in Decatur, because, even though she is "color blind," there are too many black people there. I was, of course, never suggesting she live in Decatur. I'm too fond of Decatur to suggest that.

I think of y'all as my sane relatives, and I would like to hug you all.

The entire town of Decatur heaved a collective sigh of relief.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It was more five weeks of meeting up with friends, then FINALLY first official date with just the two of us, and then second date with teacup and he was stuck with me

Seems like just a little while ago. Good match!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Happy anniversary, sj and TCG!

Thanks for confirming my son's cuteness factor. We think we'll keep him.

Shane is clearly going to set new standards of Buffista baby cuteness.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I adore that put-up-your-dukes newborn hand thing. Shane is an utter cutiebean.

But, really, his very first Christmas, not even a week old, and you offer us one lousy (well, one adorable, but still only one) photo? Not to mention no photos of him at all with either of his mamas? What on earth is up with that?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Interrupting to say : WTF?

People? Weird.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Well, two. But yeah, where's the more photos of the boy and his mamas? And as much as I love the fiesty-fists of newbornery, my first love is still sleeping flower-hands, where the fingers flare like time-lapse blossoms.

Ginger, you're definitely family, and we're glad you and the dog are back from the scary place of Other.

sj and TCG, wonderful happy anniversary!

We learned to transfer the smaller balances on the offers, and work like crazy to get them down to zero before the offer timed out. Worked, several times. But that meant carrying the larger balances. Mine are paid off and in the freezer. H's have been "nearly" paid off many times, but he keeps *not* saying "We can't afford that," and putting it on a CC without telling me. We need to have That Talk again.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Shane is so cute! He's so cute I was crooning while viewing the photo of him. Harvey thought I was talking to him, and crooned back.
